Early Life, Education, and Professional Career of Bae Suzy
Bae Suzy was born and raised in Gwangju, South Korea. She attended the School of Performing Arts Seoul and graduated in 2013. Suzy began her career as a model, starting as an online shopping model, and she was part of a street dancing crew to show her parents that she was serious about becoming an idol. In July 2010, she made her debut as the lead vocalist, sub-rapper, face of the group, visual, and maknae with their first EP, "Bad But Good." The lead single, "Bad Girl Good Girl," became the first-ever song by a debuting group to reach #1 on the Gaon Digital Chart, making it the best-performing single at that time.
Today, she is widely popular not only as a singer but also as one of the top actresses and dancers in the Korean K-pop industry. As of March 2019, Suzy left JYP Entertainment and later signed with Management Soop (매니지먼트 숲), which currently represents her.
